With generous external and internal support the chemistry program has been able to undergo significant improvements in recent years. These improvements include modern instrumentation, facilities, and equipment for instruction and research. This support has allowed for great success in building a faculty who continue the tradition of excellent, student-centered instruction in both the classroom and the research laboratory. As a result, in addition to providing a superior classroom educational experience, our program is one of the leaders in the country in supporting undergraduate research.
